Back Home

Dear Reader,

I am on my way back home. Well, my home away from home in Malta. This trip to the UK was my first ever solo travel and it has been the most eye-opening, growing and exciting journey I have experienced yet. My favourite challenge was introducing myself to a new person every day/night. It was the scariest yet most rewarding challenge I have ever set. I kept telling myself the worst case scenario is it’s awkward and I never see them again. But I was lucky enough to have the best-case scenarios time after time which opened me up to countless new cultures, languages and fun that has grown me beyond measure. A simple hello led to planning trips to Belgium and Finland to visit them this summer.

My encouragement today: go and meet new people, the reward is higher than the risk.
