Ending The Year

Hey friends,

As the year comes to a close, it’s easy to fall into the trap of comparison.

We compare what we’ve accomplished to others’ achievements.

We compare our holiday plans to others’ trips.

But one of my goals this year was to shift away from comparing myself to others and instead focus on comparing myself to the person I was a year ago.

A year ago, I hadn’t competed in any races—not even at school. Now, I am about to compete in my second 10km race to close out the year.

Last year, I worked five jobs, sacrificing my time and freedom. Today, I’m self-employed, prioritising time and location freedom above all else.

So, as you wrap up this year, I encourage you to look back at how far you’ve come. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and make a plan to keep growing in the year ahead.
