Growing Pains

Hey friends,

Just before a child realises how tall they are, they often complain of the growing pains.

How the discomfort and agony are hurting them.

But then one day they’ll look in the mirror and be proud of their change.

That’s what I’m hoping is the case for me now.

That one day I can call the discomfort of this change just growing pains.

And I will look in the mirror and be proud of the growth it caused.

That it won’t feel like pain forever but a moment in time when it made me stronger.
