Happiness
Dear Reader,
Christopher McCandless, an American Adventurer once said, “Happiness is only real when shared.”
I don’t believe in this statement. I think happiness just looks different by yourself versus being shared with others.
Happiness by yourself often is peaceful, quiet and genuine.
Happiness shared is often loud, seen and big.
While I think shared happiness can be so much fun I don’t think you can truly enjoy it until you can find happiness with yourself.
I find a lot of people hide in big crowds to distract themselves from the fact that they can’t find happiness when alone.
But if you learn to find that joy on your own you can enhance the joy when around others.
That is why I am loving this season of my life right now because it is pushing me to grow my independence and find happiness in myself.
Would you say you have found happiness with yourself or do you hide in a crowd to find it there?
All my love,
Kaila 💌
