My Secret Wish

Dear Reader,

This is a piece from the last time I visited Roma, Italy inspired by La Fontana Di Trevi:

“forever his” the coin hits the well

“always mine” I blow out the candles

“forever his” the clock ticks 11:11

“always mine” I point out the shooting star

forever and always my secret wish

3 months later and I’m back at the same fountain only this time with a different wish, but I can’t tell you because then it might not come true.
