Society Sucks

Dear Reader,

Sometimes it seems society has conditioned women to believe their number one goal should be marriage. That the dream is to be a beautiful wife and mother, but nothing more. To be the simple woman who stands behind her great husband. I believe a lot of great women put her dreams on hold to support an average man.

society sucks,

creating normality around a girl dropping everything for a man,

letting her lose sight of her dreams, to be his greatest fan.

giving up all her passions and being silenced by the rain,

begging him to stay even tho she’s in pain.

society sucks,

please find a new way.

Please don’t put your dreams aside for someone else, even if everyone says it’s okay to do so.
