Time Heals All
Dear Reader,
I was listening to a podcast that dove deeper into the cliche saying “time heals all” and I love what she had to say about it.
Time heals all is a true statement BUT what you do in that time depends if you heal and how long it will take to process the healing.
If you spend your time doom scrolling TikTok and Instagram and staying in bed all the time it will take you forever to heal. Yet if you spend that time journaling, doing self-care and working on yourself you will process the hurt or pain a lot faster and eventually time will heal all.
If an athlete were to be injured and then spend the next 3 months not getting out of bed and you heard them complain that they weren’t healing you would think it was so obvious why.
They need to go to therapy and process the pain to grow and become stronger again.
And it is the same with emotional and mental pain.
I spent 3 months in bed complaining about why my heart wasn’t healing but in the past 2 months after taking care of it and focusing on self-care and growth I have healed 10 times faster.
If there is something you need to heal from, take the time and energy to process and grow from it and then the cliche “time heals all” will be a true statement again.
