"what if..."

Dear Reader,

“What ifs” are a silent killer. Constantly wondering what if I did that instead or what if I said that then. But eventually, you have to find peace with the unknown and figure it might be better if you never know.

I know I shouldn’t look,

I know I shouldn’t care,

but did you only go to her,

because I am not there.

If I stayed would it still be us,

If I stayed would we still have our love,

would you have passed her and not bat an eye,

I i guess ill never know,

because we had to say goodbye.

My advice: don’t bury or suppress the “what ifs” but don’t let them taunt you.
